No Bake Snicker Caramel Apple Pie

Alright mommas, it’s a week after Halloween which means most of us aren’t as tempted to pick at that Halloween candy, but also probably still have a lot leftover, since your kid wouldn’t call it quits till they successfully hit every last house in the neighborhood & then doubled back. Or maybe you were one of those people handing out pretzels last year, & even though you came to your senses & stocked up on snickers this year, you’re were blacklisted by the kids & are left with more candy than you know what to do with. Well, here’s one of my families favorites desserts to repurpose everyone’s favorite chocolate bar into a delicious, no bake, semi healthy 🤷‍♀️ 😬treat. So, Before you go giving all the rest away, grab out all the Snickers & head to the kitchen for a dessert that basically requires a refrigerator & no effort.

In all honesty, I can’t take credit for this recipe. It’s been done time & time again by many, but I think my Nana’s ingredients & measurements are the best, so scroll on for the recipe. My kids always love “helping” me in the kitchen. As you can see my daughter decided to stick her fingers in the caramel as I drizzled it on, which at least entertained Daddy.

Notes: you can peel apples, but I never do. I like the added crisp & flavor of the skin. You can also hit the apples with a little lemon juice to keep them from browning, but I don’t since we always either finish it within a day or two or are over eating it by then anyway.

 INGREDIENTS

  • 9 inch graham cracker pie crust (in general I always use homemade pie crust for everything, but for this one you can go store bought, since the goal behind this dessert is fast & easy)

  • 2 green apples , diced or chopped

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (it’s such a small amount that it’s not worth it to me to make from scratch, but if you’re better than me, go for it girl!)

  • 1 cup Snickers , chopped (about 15-20 mini Snickers)

  • 2 1/2 cups cool whip , softened

  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 4 ounces cream cheese , softened

  • INSTRUCTIONS

  • Spread chopped Snickers on bottom of graham cracker crust. Next layer the diced apples. Then drizzle caramel on top.

  • Combine cool whip, cream cheese & sweetened condensed milk together in a small bowl. Then spread mixture on top of pie.

  • Drizzle with caramel and a few extra Snickers. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Remove from fridge about 5 minutes before serving & top with fresh apple slices. Enjoy friends!
